My Colleagues
The noise being made by the Herald and state machinery, also by Zanu Pf officials and all its media about the assault of Chinamasa in parliament has caused me to want to put something to light that some people in Zimbabwe may fail to see.The message being transmitted is exciting.I believe we have all seen how the state media has sensationalised and shown its true disgust at the act of viloence by one citizen towards another when they could have continued to speak without use of force.Indeed poor Chinamasa was speaking his mind and for that he was savagely beaten which i believe is so unfair. We are all entitled to our views and the worst we can get is to be beaten for them. Its against all principles human but wait a minute.I did not expect Zanu Pf to hate the use of force to silence anothers views.By Zanu Pf standards i thought it was normal never mind the thousands in our supposedly free country that are abducted and tortured for their views yet they are only innocent victims of greed and abuse of power, inexperience, arrogance and misinformation. It was the most perfect thing that Chinamasa was thrushed.I wish Bennert had killed the idiot.
The noise from former President Mugabe, his party and its misguided supporters about the unacceptability of violence is intriguing.Who talked about ''striking fear into their hearts ''.What message is that. Can one not achieve justice suppose he means to,which i doubt, without using force.I can not believe we are getting lectures about the unsuitability of violence from those with ''degrees in violence''.What was the Mdc information department apologising for.Thousands of people have been beaten and tortured by this rogue regime.Who is the Minister of Justice or is that what they call him and he pretends to do.That minister who was beaten is nothing more human than the miilions of our kith and kin who are terrorised daily by the criminals hiding behind politics to serve their greed.Tsvangirai must have said Chinamasa mini incident was too commonplace to be singled out. With civil war impending some of us have between little or no time to treat with panic the bruises Chinamasa obtained as a result of widespread use of force as a means of comunication.Bennert should actually have killed him. That would have reduced the burden of senseless noise when we ,as we shall do ,orchestrate and advance the cause for native african freedom in its uncorrupted and undistorted sense.Chinamasa thinks we should be grateful to have half the justice he deserves. How many people today cannot afford decent meals. Why should violence be acceptable when used against the electorate and not when used between the legislators. All the noise showed us that these people are as vulnerable as they want to make us.They can be beaten, and given enough time killed like they kill us.They are human beings and so are the soldiers and their police. We know some of the people in the secret service and they are disgusted with this regime. We have nothing to fear here.Lets beat them up those that beat others or support violence in the hope that it can never get to them.Lets these criminals down before we get into elections. These elections are nonsense. They mean nothing to all of us including the desperate youths whose desire for a better life has been hijacked, corrupted, dismissed and abondoned by the reigning tyranny. They are victims as we are but just that they know not how. They have had their own gun turned against them and told to shoot. They have never had an option. They know what real choice is.They are brainwashed. They are poor. They are untravelled and hence their sense of comparison is domesticated. They inspirants are anything better than what they are exposed to.
They can accept cheap arguements as they cant be given the other versions which exist. These people are no more or less than slaves. They just dont know it.Its a shame. We have to do something and that thing will be paid at a high price but it is worth it.Chinamasa should not be the last person to be beaten. We must hit them wherever we see them. After all its their language. We gave these idiots 20 years to do things right but they failed.Ungratefully, they even want to continue to persecute us and deny us to correct our mistake.Zanu pf is a mistake.Jonathan Moyo is mistaken but far from it its not just him. They think ,mistakenly, that they will beat us into submission in the name of land.
Guess what ?.No.We never again shall fold our arms and recieve slaps in the face like cowards. In the event of war we have nothing to lose. Our lives in the scope of this lack of freedom and poverty are hardly worth carrying on.We might have to sacrfice them in an act of love to those who come in the lives after our miserable ones. The Irish did it,the scottish did it,the south africans did it,the iraq's are doing it,in malawi they did, remember Mugabe's Kamuzu Banda. Its gone. They will purify their system but they took the chance. If it were not for our brothers who died in the struggle whose sacrifice is yet to be rewarded Smith may still have been prime minister,or Zimbabwe-Rhodesia could still be hounting our conscience as is the nightmare the post colonial Zanu Pf immediately became.Remember they were branded terrorists.Thats propaganda. In this fight we neither MDC nor western. If anyone will help let it be.Zimbabwe went to Drc to help didnt it or so we are told.Remember Suharto and the thick dictator from West Africa Mugabe was hiding in our soils lavished by the fortunes of our overtaxed workers.
We must know that our chance is now, procrastination is a thief of time We must kill for what we can die for.The best defence sometimes is to attack. For one Zimbabwean killed through violenec we must kill too for the purpose of the rebirth of our native land.Sometimes the price is blood. We need to create a nation in which we are happy not just politically but socially. We need choice, wealth, affordable lives. If we cant have this then what is the point in the life .Those that benefit usually prefer the status quo. This includes selfish white farmers who believe this country must be indebted to their colour for a vibrant economy.Their days too are gone as has of Zanu Pf.It is our knowledge that there are shocking disparities in the distribution of wealth in our country.Land is the backbone of our economy and it shall be redistributed. This will facilitate a truly native african represantation in the ownership patterns of our countries sacred resources. It is our knowledge that the land ceased for redistribution has been divided among cronies in the hierachy of the reigning despotism. It goes without saying therefore that the process will be reviewed with greater interest for transparency. If it becomes factual that the land distribution was hijacked to serve influential people then we have to reposses that land and distribute once more in national interest. But there can never be a situation again in which our native people will be mistreated by unrepentent settlers whether they are from other african countries. The noise made by some racist farmers is worth ignoring. Our native people worked on many farms which made billions but stayed in shacks.Remember Tinker of Christon Bank whose employee ''Kaburasi'' shared home with the sheep he hearded.Remember the Western Triangle farmer who urinated into a farmers mouth. These people ,native people, had no social security contributions, nor pension, nor complaints commission, nor enforceable or accessible working conditions regulations. The white farmers treated them inhumanely and even other black cooercial farmers.Gorvenment did nothing. If compensation is to be considered it must be from gorvenment to these people first. Why are they being diregarded in the process like they dont exist.
We have to go back to the drawing board.Thats where we need to start. We will have to do this with Zanu Pf in opposition to give the country a chance to find its feet.
In the name of those that died for our freedom.

The Nyika Vanhu Foundation did not praise Bennert but was glad that a leading champion in undermining the security of citizens through advocating violence tasted his own medicine.Zanu Pf as you will accept made statements through their first secretary ,Robert Mugabe to the effect that they had degrees in violence. This statement was made to warn citizens against aligning with parties other than Zanu PF ,and if they did to accept the wrath of violence. Now that Chinamasa was thrushed they cry foul .
We stand by our statement that Chinamasa was better dead.We are not judging the merits of their case but accepting that those who live by the gun must accept it if eventually they will die by the gun.Chinamasa represents an arrogant regime which today has brought untold suffering to the children of Zimbabwe. Our suffering is not a call of nature but a result of things like the Noczim scandal, the Vip husing scandal, the War Veterans Compensation scandal, the DRC scandal, the Kumbirai Kangai GMB scandal and many more as early as the Maurice Nyagumbo scandal. There is then the murder of Rashiwe Guzha,Shirihuru,Chris Ushuwokunze,Sidney Malunga,Zororo Duri among others. There is the 1982-87 matebeleland atrocities and these are specific atrocities. There is the murder and torture of journalists as well innocent citizens unless one suggests it is criminal not to agree with views held by Mugabe. All these have nothing to do with Roy Bennert. What Bennert did to Chinamasa is what Chinamasa trains children at Border Gezi camps to do to those citizens of Zimbabwe who do not share Zanu Pf's catastrophic vision for a country in which a few get rich whilst the rest watch and starve to death.
Chiyangwa like Bennert, and indeed Coltart were instrumental in the repression of blacks. But that being the case they were doing then what Chinamasa is doing now.Their motives if suppose by joining Mdc are to hold back redistribution of resources then it is a pitty that they are taking time to awaken to the reality of a new dawn as we the natives genuinely reposition ourselves strategically in relation to our sacred resources.Chinamasa does not represent this view,by which people are accorded resources fairly beyond Zanu pf's back door land partioning processes.Zanu Pf itself is the form and shape of neo-colonialism.George Orwell must have prophesized Zanu Pf when he authored animal farm.Tongogara could be Snowball,Mugabe Napoleon and Jonathan Moyo, Squelor incarnate. Chinamasa is one of the pigs, like Tawengwa, like Shamuyarira, like Emmerson Gukurahundi Munangagwa that ate the apples, changed the rules and slept in beds and finally like their predecessors wore clothes(POSA)
That is why the skimmish does not warrant to be treated with any seriousness as if important people were involved. We are only happy that when they orchestrate plans to use violence some in their midst may have a few reservations owing from experience.

I am still at pains trying to see the rationale behind my fellow compatriots effort to have Zimbabwe effectively starved of foreign currency.I need someone to explain to me how exactly by campaigning about the Homelink we save our country or we benefit.I remember the story ,a biblical source, telling of two women who found themselves in the midst of fighting for a baby they both claimed was theirs.Appearing before a King they were asked each in turn what they thought was in the interest of fairness. One suggested that they cut the baby in half and each gets a fair share in which naturally though the baby would ba dead whilst the other to whom the baby was later handed suggested that if she could not have her baby alive it would be her choice to let go her baby in one living intact piece. It was decided she was the mother for she had the heart to see the baby live even if it was not in her hands. She put the interests of the country first over her right to have the baby or even the security of the baby in her contender's hands. That to me is maturity and manifests the application of reason and selflessness.
The Homelink is an idea that is good and positive. It is a project that provides currency that is needed by the nation. Our problem is not the people of Zimbabwe,it is Mugabe and Zanu Pf.Foreign currency is needed in our country for things as very basic as spare parts for our millers who provide the staple food many depend on,floor and others. Our transport system depends on foreign currency for spare parts, for fuel and general viability. These services among many others health ,procurement of drugs are quite notable among those essential services we needed foreign currency for. The public are the people that are affected with failed delivery in the services i have mentioned. It is therefore not proper that we team up with Zanu pf to add hardship to the people of Zimbabwe. As opposition it is up to them to take to task Zanu pf on how the forex is distributed. That is the role of opposition. We cannot be seen to be inviting problems to our country by refusing openminded solutions.Suppose if Mdc becomes gorvenment will they not use a facility as the one being proposed.Would they advocate for the use of a parrallel market through which many people have been prejudiced by shoddy forex dealers who take years to remit the funds to specified beneficiaries.I have had to wait weeks and make expensive calls to follow up on money i have sent home. Many people have outrightly lost the money .What is good with that ?. Today you can be assured you money is exchanged at good rates and is home within twenty four hours and they are authorities behind it.If the forex is used for bad things then is it not for the opposition and media to expose and curb such rottenness.
We must oppose with vision.Zimbabwe is our country and we stand up and defend its right to recover no matter by who such intitatives are made.We have no trust yes in Mugabe but we have Zimbabwe in our hands to protect.

Cdes, Nyika yedu first!! I believe Shumba you are challenging a lot of political swingers' view of Zim, Zanu and MDC. One of the reasons for the failing of the Zanu govt is the lack of accountability. People are still making the same mistake of handing everything to some trusted politician for no good reason and not making sure they remain accountable for their actions. I am sure if we were to mantain the same political culture even if MDC took power in Zim tomorrow things would not get any better in the long run. The Forex/Moneylink situation also shows the other worrying side of the politics of unquestioning obedience. Its almost as though MDC want to become the new ZANU. (i.e. follow dictats from the party without meaningful explanation or even debate of possible options). If Zim had an opposition based on principles and not one fashioned in the west and overly focussed on the needs of a few white farmers we would not be having the strange situation where an opposition supposedly working for the people of Zim time and time again calls for action that harms our country. Why do MDC want to ruin Zimbabwe? Why is there a celebration of problem situations in Zim on the part of MDC? If MDC was a principled party one of the first things they would do is to state categorically that they are for re-distribution of land/wealth etc in Zim. MDC could also be actually campaigning for means and ways of alleviating the suffering of the ordinary parson in Zim. ZANU is a disaster for Zim and as such a half decent opposition should be able to unseat them. Shumba, if you are a member of MDC, why don't you challenge Tsvangirai for the leadership of MDC? MDC needs a vision and you have a much better vision than Morgan and his Welshman (who has actually taken possetion of one of the farms that were acquired) have ever shown. If you are not a member of MDC then I believe it would be helpful for Zim if we could hear more from people like you Shumba who clearly love Zimbabwe and have a major contribution to make going forward.

kumushacapelzcom u r talking nonsense. The very same reason why the MDC and many other ordinary Zimbabweans are backing the sanctions is because Mugabe repression laws and state machinery has left them with no other option. The only way that Mugabe (who has brought the economy to its knees and violated and murdered so many innocent zimbabweans) and his corrupt can be kicked out of zimbabwe is through external pressure. The other way is a civil diobedience or at worst civil war. Many people are totally against the later.
It is unfortunate that u accuse the MDC of calling for harm to the country............ I believe u should accuse zanu which has brought more harm and evil to zim. If u don't support the MDC's policies u r free to choose your own party or form one. The party will defend its position no matter what just as the ANC, Republicans, Democrats, Labour etc do when they are attcked. Defending your beliefs does not mean that u r not open to criticism. It is unfortunate that as a party u can never please everyone. I used to hate zanu because they murdered my own people in the land of Mthwakazi but at least at that time the economy was OK and the Laws were not repressive.
I believe in the abilities of the present MDC leadership but if they ever get into gvt and fail to deliver I won't be afraid of giving them the red card. The most important thing at the moment is the fight for a new democratic Zim where everyone is free to choose the party of their choice to govern. At the moment I think the MDC and Civil groups are capable of giving us freedom from repression.
It is very unfortunate (if true) that Welshman accepted a farm under the current distribution chaos. The party has always fought for transparent land reforms. He should therefore come clean.
the struggle continues

I always sense that some people in MDC are not happy to address the points of any criticism. Yes, ZANU has failed the country big time. Yes, Zanu is undemocratic and has furthered the cause of exploitation of the weak in Zimbabwe. Yes, Zanu has built a power hungry, corrupt and arrogant elite. Regardless of all the above points about Zanu there are points about MDC and the general pattern of things in Zimbabwe which need to be addressed. In many ways it is important that as well as focussing in on the day to day campaigns and activities it may be helpful to do a reality check regarding a historical perspective. In Zambia a trade-union inspired leadership (not too dis-similar to MDC) was sponsored by the West and in fact did take power only to use it to further the interests of the West and double the level of corruption in the process!! I am also realistic in pointing out that due to the repression and the violence in Zimbabwean politics it has become a pattern that it was mostly the gamblers with nothing to loose who joined and led MDC in its early days. This is not a very high calibre type of person. On the main most of the early players/members in the MDC were part of the Zanu system. What Zimbabwe needs is people like Courage Shumba who have something different to offer. These are the types of people who could enthuse the population, re-juvenate the opposition and even bring in a broader base of Zimbabwean into the opposition. There is no real hope if our opposition is just trade-union dominated and western fashioned. We should have an opposition which includes the likes of Shumba, Chakaodza, professional Zimbabweans, hard working unskilled Zimbabweans, Zimbabwean economic and political exiles, women, sportspeople, musicians etc etc. This will en-rich the standard and quality of leadership as well as securing not just our freedom from the yoke of Mugabe but also from the exploitation and manipulation by the west. Surely you would want both of these outcomes for Zimbabwe and not just the first.

You accuse MDC members of being gamblers with nothing to lose...... This is an unfortunate allegation on your part fellow zimbo. Most Of the MDC members and supporters that I know are very respectful and credible people whose only intention is to liberate zimbos from the unbearable state they find themselves in. However in every political organisation you find people whose only intention is to serve their interests.
I hope that the Mdc won't make the same mistakes as the MD of Zambia. U however omit the fact that Zambia is now a better place than it used to be both economically and democratically. At least the constitution now allows for a multi-party democracy where people are free to choose the leader of their choice. I believe very strongly in the ability of the MDC to take Zim to a new dawn. I believe that they will learn from the mistakes of MD of Zambia and lead Zimbabwe to a better future.
The struggle for real liberation continues.... Amandla

I am sure the only way from the problems Zambia was facing was to go up. Sadly you do not seem to realise Zimbabwe's constitution still gives the right to political participation and democracy etc. The reality on the groung is as you know it to be. Zambia had a constitution which barred political participation by political parties other than UNIP. That is the big difference. I disagree very strongly with your assertion that Zambia is now in a state that we should be looking at admiringly. Hakuna chiriko kuZambia - vanhu vari kutambura!!! Things only got better for British and western interests in Zambia and if you are interested I have examples of how the British in particular came back to exploit Zambia following from Chiluba's victory. Chiluba's succession was only ensured by the rigging of an election which all opposition parties said was rigged and full of irregularities. The British and their friends in the west were quite happy with things as their continued exploitation of Zambia was assured. This is the trap which I feel MDC and Zimbabwe should not fall into. Our patriotisim should be unquestionable if our deeds are truly about putting Zim and its people first. This again is something the MDC has never articulated. I read with interest a lot of MDC documents and pronouncements and very rarely do I see the "Zimbabwe and its people first" stamp on any of it. Its well and good to ignore the reality but to be honest you will have a situation soon where even with trully free and fair elections if things keep improving on the ground in Zim it will be unlikley that MDC will win the hearts and minds of the people. MDC is where it is partly because of its sponsorship by the British, white farmers and other western interests. It is imperative that if MDC is to convince the people that it has a real oneness with the people it (MDC) should come out with some harsh truths which the white farmers and the British may not like but which are central in Zimbabweans minds. "The land is ours and should be given back to the people" for example. "The fight against AIDS is the top national priority and could be advanced much more if the British and the Western world as much as gave a toss about the people of Zimbabwe" A statement like this from Tsvangirai would show that he is not afraid to upset his party's sponsors!!! My other point about the calibre of the MDC leadership has been echoed by a lot of Zimbabweans across many discussion groups and in terms of even MDC members. This is something that I do not understand....Why do you think its better for the MDC to have inarticulate, incoherent spokespersons? This against a background of a Zimbabwe which boasts some of the most well educated people on the African continent! Yes, I can here what some of my MDC friends say, "Mugabe akadzidza kudarika Tsvangirai chiyi chaakaita?" My response is "It still remains we need better presentation from an MDC whose most articulate spokesperson is one David Coltart!!!" Zvinonyadzisa. The other point people need to consider in MDC is one of the failings in Zim politics which is the question.."Is this the best leadership for the phase we are entering now?" This question should be asked all the time. Zim would be the Switzerland or Sweden of Africa today if we had got rid of the nationalists once they had fulfilled their task of leading the liberation. They were not the best leadership 5 years into Zim's leadership. I believe the trade union activists that have led MDC heretofore are not the best people to actually lead the true next Chimurenga which we need in Zim. This is the Chimurenga of fighting against AIDS and not hondo yeminda by the way. This is also the Chimurenga to ensure that anyone who is given any power in Zim is accountable to the people as to how they use that power as opposed to the Chimurenga to remove Mugabe from power which seems to be MDC's prime focus. This is also the Chimurenga to ensure that the natural resources of Zim are exploited primarily for the benefit of the people of Zim and not the blind protection of "property rights" as espoused by the MDC. This my friend is a chimurenga closer to the interests of the people than the Chimurenga of Mugabe or the Tsvangirai campaign!!! This obsession with western models as articulated in the restart programme of the MDC again shows the intellectual poverty that MDC is caught up in. It still remains for the MDC to find a voice closer to the issues facing the people of Zimbabwe than the HMV stance they have become associated with in a lot of people's minds.

I would like to thank all the Zimbabweans who are working tirelessly to see to it that we vote in the next coming elections for the MDC. I was reading one of the articles written my one of the members and he states that the MDC support is crushing and the all those that voted for the MDC in the 2000 elections were not supporters of the MDc at all.
I would like to respond to that article and strogly believe that Zimbabwean people are so peaceful and once violence is unleashed on them, they are so afraid. On that note I would like to say that all tose people that voted for MDC are and still are MDc supporters and they have not deserted their party at all. What is happenning is that people are afraid of violence of which Zanu Pf is well known for. People would rather vote for the party that will give them peace and a sound economy withiout exposing themselves to the tyrant.
I for one I am not leaving in Zimbabwe at the moment I am in Canada, but I am always in touch with the party hierachy and well informed about what is happening. People rae hungry and I do not think anyone would not refute that fact, and people wouldn't vote for a party that does not give them food. If you are not a Zanu Pf you cannot get maize from the GMB.
So MDC has just to keep on campaigning just as they did in the 2000 elections and with current situation people need change more than ever.
Chinja maitiro must still remain as the slogan because a lot of people are not well informed and it is too late to do that as the elections are near.

As much as I hate to admit that the MDC Leadership in Zim Lacks a bold consensus to convince the general Zim public of their policies and ideals. It is quite evident that the Zanu PF Government is corrupt and has f**ked up the economy of the country - even young children are aware that the current government has let everyone down.MDC must capitalise on these failings by current corrupt injust government - for 24years people are even more poorer that even the Smith or Abel Muzorewa era.

Bretheren
I observe with respect, the voluminous analysis we continue to encounter regards the welfare of a country we are obliged to save and serve.Nothing can be healthier,in political situations than honesty in speech and practice. Both in Western and African continents in their entirity, honesty even transparency is rare, infact the world over .However without truth and justice being demanded people with power would do as we witness in Zimbabwe. Therefore what we need is a system that has has many exits and entrances to common people's relief against the abuse of power. This includes decentralising authority and power. This means also to make sure appointments to public office are independent of political influence at least to the extend that it is possible.Truthfully we need a broader vision for Zimbabwe which encompasses both this resistance by Zimbabwean people and the post resistance era. There are challenges to be faced after the Zanu pf hegemony is dealt with. These challenges are not unique to Zimbabwe ,as proven by crises that many post-dictatorship go through.Political and economic challenges are ,after all the reason we are restless about the unsightly situation we are to be found.
I believe that there are more complex issues to be dealt with.Zimbabwe still bears the scars of colonial dispossesion with among our priviledged groups in a bitter fight to hold on to economic gains. These wars ,fought in our name ,are not genuinely struggles to change our lives nor are they worth the face they are spoken with.Mugabe and his close allies want to hold on to the gains that give them control over politico-fiscal decisions in the country. To them it is not about the people. It is about high corruption and the protection availed by the circle of influence.Mugabe steals more, followed by ministers, permanent secretaries, directors in that hierachy and no one has clean hands. It is why people like ,former international trade ran away and resigned far in hiding. It is a group of thieves like the Mafia and the only way you get out of it is by death or assured silence. Then there are the white minority fighting a war to hold on to priviledged position brought in by thuggery, deprivation, discrimination, repression, and injustice more of the same with that of Zanu pf.You will find in your memories that the earliest political tensions were between the trade union and employers .You will also find in those fresh memories that the gorvenment took a more employer favoured stance until it started losing favour among the people to ZCTU. I am here trying to present the reality that with some of the white farmers, they are only calling for regime change so that they retain their ill gotten colonial gains and to mantain a superior unchallenged position in the country as motion movers by arm twisting legislature.Remember even before, the coming of the MDC how these people through their bakeries, butcheries, abbotoirs, refineries and manufactuing concerns they deliberately held back stock and at times increased prices to the detriment of people's welfare.Whilst Zanu pf wants the financial advantages of handling public funds ,trust and policy intiatives for corrupt personal benefits some of these minorities want a gorvenment that is afraid of articulating a policy position that brings about a majority placed strategically at the centre of it nations livelihood. Suppose,3/4 of our edible consumables were from indeginous ,native Zimbabweans, development would spread straight into the lives of such people. With such knowledge, that many forums are named after our cause for legitimacy and expedience,we must hold in our hands our own barner espousing what we believe to be what is best for us ,today and in the long term.Such things are,1) To have before us a law that is just and manned by independent impartial institutions funded by parliament, and answerable to the people.Such is an institution that can practically be drawn to act by the will of the people, one whose leaders represent our political, economic and social diversity .We need independent institutions that are tasked to promote transparency and put forward to question the behaviour of public posts holders in accordance with a fair and just law.
2)We need to spearhead poverty alleviation initiatives by attacking the embarassingly unfair distribution of wealth control imposed on us by colonial racism
3)We need a gorvenment that is an opportunity creator ,one that is prepared to revise the entire economic regime from tax, customs, excise, research funding, welfare benefits, and more.We need a gorvenment that increases spending and circulation of money.
4)We need a gorvenment that depends less on tax, minimise spending on defence as we face no imminent threat from our region, creates a working public health system, spends more on education, housing and infrastructural development such as attending the quality of our roads, upgrade our railway network, increase our energy production capacity things that have a direct impact on the quality of the lives of our people.
5)We need a professionalised police service, army and state security regime created with one and singular motive-to safeguard the security of our country.
6)We need a working social services apparatus to work for the benefit of those whose lives require the intervention of the state to be lived within decency.
7)We need a gorvenment with a nationalistic appeal and approach working not only in the interests of Zimbabwe today but too for a Zimbabwe we might not see.
We need to begin by agreeing that Zimbabwe can only be freed by ourselves.Britain,South Africa or such other countries have limitations on what they can do or specifically what we allow them to do.We have nothing to gain by trying to create a total economic failure which hurts the very people we want to see protected. We can not assist Zanu pf to starve the people, nor Britain to dictatate events in Zimbabwe should it want to.We need ourselves whilst taking advantage of those amidst us who are pursuing individual agendas to ensure that Zanu pf is brought to size.Whilst doing so we need to be frank to those camouflaged in our struggle that we are not a vehicle for economic injustice or that our struggle is far from being a guarantor to abondon adjustment from ill gotten colonial economic prejudices which continue to insult our heroic struggle against minority racist rule.
Beyond Zanu Pf no one should be placed in a messiah position,as we need no emphasis on the damage this can cause and inflict on our lives when power gets the better of a person entrusted to lead.At once we must sit down, almost immediately and spell out drastic and drammatic reforms,to both our constitution and national inequalities created by both colonialism and Mugabe.
We will get there,one day,soon
