Bwana that is an educated point. Until Mandela came into power the white voters of apartheid claim that they never knew of the atrocities committed by their chosen leaders and law enforcers. Its funny that some people cant see what Bob is doing in Zim. ;D

Bwana Mwia
You miss my point explicitly but you nabbed it implicitly. As you say the German population turned a blind eye to Hitler's atrocities and so "Good man did nothing and evil prevailed". Remember Gobbels (I hope I got it right), is our own Jonah not a reincarnation of this chap who was responsible for the "German blindness"? Go to Harare and for a day act as if you are political unaware who is who in the political jungle. I assure you after the sun has set you will firmly beleive that Zimbabwe has a prosperous economy and is ruled by a righteous man called VaMugabe( VaMugabe vaive mukomana akangwara, akashinga ane uchenjeri....is all you hear).
My point in my previous mail to put it simply was that we have fallen into the trap of associating everything bad with Mugabe and not Zanu PF. And they have shifted the people's hate to Jonah living Mugabe a hero of the so called crusade on corruption. Unfortunately when you speak of the good that you do as MDC you never refer to Morgan or Tsvangirai but the MDC. So whereas they have created a righteous semi-god you have created a righteous movement. Where in your right mind have people voted for a party and not an individual. Do you remember the Rhodesian Front or Smith, Do you remember ZAPU PF or Josh (Mudala wethu) do you remember UANC or Muzorewa. You see the MDC is always on the wrong footing in this political drama. I think they need to perk up their act.
And lastly, you describe intelligently what ails our great nation. Lack of a conscience and blind loyalty yet you do not offer any solution as to counter such behaviour. Remeber money makes the difference in Zimbabwe. If you offer a man Z$10 and a few scuds he will worship the ground you tread on. The bottom line is that in politics "Fools are the wise man's tools". Ask the war vets, they know this so well as they would be addressed by a guy with a rolex while they prepare to go and "sunungura nyika yemadzibaba" with matenderfoot nematommy. You will murder your brother on political grounds so that A may rule and not B. Yet after A is victorious B will be appointed to cabinet while you languish in jail. That is a classical political tale but at the end of the day my dissappointment with the MDC is its lack of practicality and courage. I am sick of hearing them describe Mugabe as this and that yet I see no concrete action on their part to get into power. My take is we are being taken on a political ride as usual. Remeber ZUM or should I say Tekere to jog your brain better. Vamwe varikupfuma isu tichingonyunyuta zvenyika!

It is true that a times we need a change in the leadership because of various reasons. But you can not change from good to bad. Trully speaking Mr Mugabe is very intelligent. For example ask him about health he will tell you there and there. What about our opportunist Tsvagirai he can not express himsel in ten words. I personally I won't let Tsvangirai rule me. For Mr mugabe we talk of an ex-veraterian but on Tsvagirai it is an ex-tea-boy at trojan Mine Bindura. If you think I am lying just go to the records of the Trojan Nickel Mine In Bindura then you will see the truth. MDC will never ever rule Zimbabwe in a thousands years. If Tsvangirai was a good leaner he should have leantr a lesson from many like him. But since his memory shows to be faliable at school he couldn't get.
Even if you don't publish this but I tell you. I am not writting this letter to the public but I am writing it you so don't bother yourself publishing it. A cornced Zimbabwean. ;D

There are only three words to describe your political mentality my friend, and that is YOU ARE AN IDIOT. For still believing the ZANU PF Indoctrination rubish that still exists in the country. If you are so sure that you will not be incriminated or abused for your deliberations, why do you hide behind the screen of a Guest. The other item I wish to address is . If another political party tries to encourage Democratic Change, they are abducted, beaten and murdered depending on how far you are in the pecking order, plus ballot rigging and control of the judiciary, police and army, ad infinitum. That is why they are now useing International pressure on agreater scale. For your info Morgan is in London this weekend, if that is not courage after the rigged reason to try him for treason, I do not know what is

Anonymus Bullnuts There are people who are crazier than Mugabe, those are his blind suporters like you Anonymus. Mr Tsvangirai could have been anything in his past but the fact that he grew up and became the first person to threaten Mugabe's autocrass is enough for me to die for him. I will fallow him to hell and back. Mr T called us to stand against Mugabe's ESAP and predicted the job losses if such a project was put in place, it happened and ever since then what ever he says does happen, what can you call him such a person other than a prophet? When Jesus started to preach people like you Ano were saing 'Oh he is a son of a poor capenter! Oh he was born in the donkey's pen' To hell with you non believers . Tsvangirai is the only man who will pull Zimbabwe out of the mud where Mugabe buried it.

Dear All,
As Roy enters his third week in custody, his family are becoming increasingly concerned about his wellbeing. With only one visit, for 10 minutes, every two weeks it is difficult to get an accurate picture of how he is being treated. He is sunburnt and the lack of nutrition is beginning to become apparent. In addition, his long hours in the sun mean that as Roy sweats the lice become more active and increasingly painful. Roy is still not allowed any additional food or medication and continues to share a cell designed for four people with 17 other prisoners.
We continue to pursue every avenue to secure his release but are constantly frustrated by bureacracy and intransigence on the part of the government and all arms of State Security.
On Tuesday 9th November Judge Hungwe heard our High Court appeal against the severity of Roy's sentence for a relatively minor crime. Judgement has still not been handed down in this matter.
We believe that the fact that Patrick Chinamasa, the man Roy pushed, is the Minister for Justice, Legal and Parliamentary affairs may have something to do with this delay.
We have had an overwhelming response from people asking for a copy of the petition calling for Roy's release and someone in your neighborhood should have a copy so please ask around and sign it and get your friends to sign as well. If you cannot find a copy then please e-mail us with the word "petition" in the subject line.
Heather and the family are grateful for the support and prayers from all of you. In these dark times it means a great deal.
Thank you all.
Regards
Free Roy Bennett

Bwana Wmia rafiki yangu, we are all saddened by the barbaric way Roy have been punished it shows where we went wrong as the MDC. We believed in justice in a country where the just are the crucified. I have always said our war in Zimbabwe doesnt end with Mugabe but the whole system he had created from a corrupt police officer at Dorowa Police Camp to the vote rigging Tobaiwa Mudede up to those movers and shakers like Jonathan Moyo and Chinamasa. My teacher L.Roy Hubbard had once said "Never trust justice in the hands of man." I think he meant people like those in Zim Justice today they are ruling worst than a kankaroo court. Vakarasika vana veZimbabwe vasinga rwire rushanduko nhasi. Roy B tinomuisa muminamato yedu yose nevose vakasungirwa urwu rushanduko rwatinochemera Mwari ngaave navovo.

Chinja, its unfortunately true that a lot of people are members of the MDC for Asylum purposes and a lot of them hardly understand the role which they should even after they get granted the asylum. I know a dozen or so people in Atlanta who have conviniently used the MDC to get Asylum but are the biggest opponents of the party. The same people queu up for Homelink goodies and right now are busy applying for the Zanu PF housing loans too. Sad to say that guys like Denny, Regis etc in DC were only using the party to make money from asylum applicants and this brings some truth in the fact that perhaps Denny could have been a Zanu implant in there as shown by his ties to Mawere and Munangagwa.
The truth about MDC USA is that it has been infiltrated by people who do not really share the ideals to remove Mugabe. People like you Chinja are very rare in that party and you will be the first to admit that for sure the others in the MDc leadership do not share the same ideals. Instead a lot of the leaders in Atlanta here concentrated on using the MDC as a platform to start up their own small business or even make a little bit of money from selling this or that to members. Mr Madera himself has made quite a bit of money too processing asylum cases and I doubt if some of the money for cards etc found its way into the MDC coffers.
The people who share the ideals that you have Chinja are afraid of tainting themselves by associating with some of these bad apples. We need the USA MDC to pass a litmus test before we can all go in there and really believe what everyone is saying.
As MDC, the focus now should be on winning the elections by engaging in Campaigns, rallies, door to door, meetings, adverts on zimnet radio, afrosounds and even Short wave radio (this has a large listenership back home just like what Radio Mozambique was during the days of the struggle)
You Chinja can make a dramatic change in the way the MDC is structured in USA but you need to take a good look at who is around you. As a professional you are talented with a career which does not lead you into using the MDC for some money to pay bills. Une basa rako rakanaka nad you do not rely on squeezing other Zimbos to make a living and that is why I read your posts when I see them. All you need to do is to change your crowd and a lot of people will join you.

Demonstrate for freedom.
I hope to see all peace loving and democratic Zimbabweans demonstrating at the up and coming England cricket games. With all the international press, which we have been so starved of in attendance, I call on all democratic and civic movements to take advantage of this GOLDEN opportunity to show our outrage at the despotic and tyrannical rule of Robert Mugabe and Zanu PF.
If you are hungry, if you have been tortured, if you have been raped, if your freedoms and liberties have been impeded, if your house has been burnt, if your farm has been taken back by the BIG WIGS, if the green bombers have beaten you and your family, if you wish for better things and the right to freely chooce your government then you will be demonstrating at the cricket grounds and at the England teams hotel.
Arise Zimbabwe for now is the time to seek freedom from murder and oppression.
Enough is enough…………

I think the MDC must make clear its strategies. People feel its losing support, but I personally think it's because the party has chosen to use peacefull means to deal with the matter, which I greatly agree with. This makes the people think that it is quiet these days and is being too soft but a negotiating table is always there waiting even if war is waged and at the end will be the only solution. It's for the benefit of the people of Zimbabwe as war will only bring more trouble and sorrow. Through history, true politicians should notice the impact of chosing armed struggle, even lessons from neighbouring countries, and with negotiations being the final solution. Tsvangirai is in a position whereby every door to victory is closed for him, with Mugabe in control of all state authority and even such allegence from his generals who even preach of change being not accepted. Tsvangirai has to take steps that will see the country being regained without bloodshed because anyway he is in a position of calling for an uprising and the Zimbabwean masses will indeed rise and surcrifise themselves to the regimes military might. There're people ready to fight now if only Tsvangirai gives way. I respect and very much sympathise with the gentleman who has brought back voice to the people-now we can publicly condemn Mugabe. He stood alone at a time people really knew something had to be done but as always powerless and fearing for their lives. Who could stand against Mugabe and condemn him in public? Now the country is undergoing reform due to his actions and the attention of the international community has been received. Aluta continua! ps. if anyone knows how I can get party membership through an e-mail link plz send me at shkeny20032003@yahoo.co.uk, as the other link on this site is having problems processing my application.

Stop blaming and start to realise that 'Defections' will always happen and are a common political strategy to try and shame/weaken or if possible defeat the other side! Yes, something can be done to some extent about defections and how to minimise them. New ideas should always be brought forward for consideration so that a meaningful stragey can be developed. The idea of Continuous Criticism without any Constructive Material as in this case is really damaging and the result is Lose of Confidence by the target electorate. Learn to criticise and make a suggestion at the same time so that at least a possible solution can be reached. Try to use simple English vocabulary(language). Be brief and to the point because long texts are a bit boring and annoying to read through. Zanu Pf anti corruption move is an electoral gimmick as was land in all previous elections from 1980 to 2002.Mugabe is not serious about anything that goes on in Zimbabwe than to die in power. That is his cheap trick and he will use anything from voodoo to his secret service to ensure that only that is what happens. The best and only weapon against Mugabe's rampage and ruin lies within our capacity as nationalists and reformists to settle down and organise ourselves purposefully for the sake of our own lives who one man and a few lunatics are holding at ransom.Mugabe is a not a coward though he is resident to evil and the strategies we employ must prove above else that we have studied the behaviour of the bloodsucking lamprey Mugabe is. I left Zimbabwe in a hurry owing to the the threats on my personal life that had started to pour with mid night raids, beatings in police cells, harrassment and death threats and attempts. It pains me that this still goes on and may be with us for as long as intolerance runs supreme in Zimbabwe's political party's and forms the basis of silencing dissenting political approaches. In my last national editorial at www.geocities.com/homeofactivism i attempted to point out the magnitude of terror in Zimbabwe. That was two years ago before i went into exile. The view i have today fellow comrades is radical. If our opposition under Tsvangirai is not taking us anywhere and we keep him leader in the movement how different are we as compatriots in the struggle for freedom different from Zanu Pf still rallying behind liar and killer Robert Mugabe even after 24 years of abuse ,inaction and economic plunder.I do not wish to be drawn to believe that failure and incompetence are a partisan issue.Democracy is knocking at the door in Zimbabwe and all we need to do is upen the door.We have never been closer to throwing away post colonial dictatorship and we can not wait for Tsvangirai if he can not do it.Unlike Zanu pf the majority of Mdc supporters are made of people who do like freedom and dvelopment in thr practical sense.Practically too if anybody disillusions the process or impedes the momentum then that person must be relieved of the responsibilities of the revolutionary organ to save its agenda I do not seek to sponsor disorientation but its time someone asked Tsvangirai to make way if he can not lead the movement to victory which is what every Zimbabwean can no longer wait for. Ian Duncan Smith ,british conservative former leader was ousted for poor perfomance and in his place is someone who seems to do a little bit more.Tsvangirai must work hard or quit. The Movement can not disintergate like Zimbabwe because one inefficient man. There are people in Zimbabwe who can do a beter job than end at bravery which we all know Tsvangirai possess. He has done his best and must give way to another person who can humiliate Mugabe stand up to him and teach him a thing or two about Zimbabweans. I have nothing against Tsvangirai.I do respect his courage .I believe however it is time that if he can not control the declining allegiance to the party given mounting resignations he moved on. I will continue to speak my mind regardless and unreservedly. We need a leader that boosts the confidence of the people and accelerate the already existing restlessness for political freedom and economic equality For justice i will fight. Courage Shumba
